Golden Retriever Plans 2010:
---------------------------------
Update: As of 11/23/2009, we plan on getting Nutmeg spayed and not breeding her once more; this is for her safety because of her last traumatic experience.
However, Ellie Mae passed her OFA hips as good: she may be bred this spring or next fall :)

2009 We plan on Breeding:
Nutmeg next spring 2010-her last litter :(

Breeding: Eesa gave birth to 10 beautiful puppies (6 boys and 4 girls) on May 17th and Nutmeg had 8 puppies that arrived on May 22nd (4 boys and 4 girls) See Golden Retriever Pups 2009 Page for more details.

Update: Hawk passed his hip exam with flying colors! He is now OFA approved with the highest rating any of our dogs have ever recieved: very good (this is second only to excellent which is unheard of)!

Breeding:   Eesa was as big as a watermelon and had nine healthy pups! Born September 29th, 2008; 7 boys and 2 girls :)
All of which now have new homes! Congratulations to the latest additions to our ongoing puppy families!

Nutmeg will be bred for spring 2009 puppies out of Hawk.
--------------------------------
Update: The spring 2008 puppies all have new homes! yay! and congrats to all the new families, including Doug, Lucas and Louie out in New Hampshire!

Dane County Fair Show Results 2009:
Nutmeg received a Red in Showmanship and a Blue in her Pre-Open class.
Hawk received a Blue in Showmanship and a Red in his Grad-Novice class.
Ellie received a Blue in her Novice class.
Sophie received a Blue in her Novice class; pretty good for her first time!

Nutmeg and Sophie competed in Brace together *two dogs, one handler* and together they earned a Blue and received a Reserve Champion Ribbon!

We are amazingly proud of our dogs and of our handlers, not to mention chauffeurs and trainers. Thanks Mom, Linda, Joe, Tricia, Ms. Houser, etc.
Thank you for being there to cheer us on!

Show Results 2009
The lowest placing any of our goats recieved this year was a second place. Kissy and Hannah recieved a Reserve Champion ribbon in Exotic Goats Confirmation and a Blue in showmanship! Holly and Jack received a Red and a Blue. Brianne and Trillium received a Red and   Blue.

Kara and Holly also showed our guard llama this year. Keep in mind Scrat is only three years old; therefore, getting a Red (second place ribbon) is very good.

Holly also competed on her thoroughbred, Slim, and for there first year, received a third. Great job everyone!
