All of our dogs are a part of our family and live in the house with us. They are taught at least basic obedience and their house manners at a young age. We also show our dogs once a year in obedience classes for the fun of it :) We don't believe in getting rid of an animal simply because they are retired from breeding. After several years of producing great puppies, they deserve to just be a dog and relax as they get older.
Update 11/23/2009
Louisa-Retired @ 7 years old; will be spayed soon.
Nutmeg-Won't be bred again due to traumatic last birth; will also be spayed.
Ellie-Turned 2 years old; hips checked: GOOD, will breed this spring or fall.
Kahlua-Just a puppy still; won't be breeding any time soon.

Meg is sired by Mo and out of Molly. She will be seven soon. She is my sister's major obedience show prospect and Meg knows it. She knows the basics plus shake, Hi-five, and Stay with a treat on her nose until you tell her to catch it! Meggie helps me out with the goats on occasion (they fascinate her) and when me or my sister goes riding she is the one dog that is allowed to come with. Nutter is so smart that she figured out that if she tries hard enough she can open are garage door to get into the house *most recently she has attempted the front door without success*yet*. She is definitely the leader of the dog pack and keeps everyone in line, but also a great mom that was willing to feed all of the puppies, even if they weren't hers.

Louisa is a lighter shade of gold than our other dogs and is from a kennel near Fennimore, WI. She has had five litters total. She knows all the basics plus heel, shake (the water off) and stand. She is a very smart dog, like the rest of ours, and is especially curious. She, like our other dogs, loves to bring us back what she has found. We once even received an entire birds nest with the 3 baby birds safe inside crying for food.
Unfortunately, the 2009 litter will be Eesa's last because we are going to get her spayed.

Ellie was Molly's final hurrah. She is a sister to Nutmeg and a daughter to Motzart. She is quite the little spitfire just like her sister was. With great confirmation and stance, she will be one of our future breeding gals and was shown in 2008 at the dane county fair and will be shown this year, as well. Ellie knows sit, come, down, stay, heel. She is a fast learner just like the rest, loves to please, and has lots of potential. Elle is definitely a keeper.
Kahlua...still working on her registered name
AKA Kallie, Lua
DOB: 07/03/2009
Will be AKC Registered soon
OFA Hips & Elbows: Check when 2 years old
Kahlua is our most recent addition and already a great little girl! She is loves to come when called, is still learning how to lay down and stay, but definitely has the sitting down. Lua will hopefully be our next girl for breeding, if her hips check-out when she is two years old; cross your fingers. Lua has one white tip on her paw, a white spot on her chest, and a little white mark on her chin. We got her from a breeder in Maple Park, Illinois (a 2 and a half hour drive from our house). The drive was definitely worth it. We chose Kallie because of her mothers temperament and the obvious care that the breeder and her family had for their dogs; they are very well-socialized as puppies. Thank you Gorenz family! More new pictures will be coming soon!
Kahlua was sharing a stick with Hawk. She is 3 months old here.
Kahlua at about 8-9 weeks old (pic above and below).
Mom is holding Kahlua when we first met her at 3 weeks old!
